Problems with trail renderer

    Hey I'm having a problem with trail renderer.

    what's happening is that the camera is looking at the scene in a 45 degree angle and the trail renders at that angle too, I want it to render at 0 angle so it looks like it's flat against the ground.

    I've tried using multiple cameras but the trail get's offset like this: http://gyazo.com/aab1d92a7619a8241a15407951ebc996

    anyone could tell me how to fix me or at least point me in the right direction.
