Hey guys I am still fairly new but I have completed a fair amount of projects and something that has bothered me to no end is that I can not use the SceneManager from the import/using at the top. I have tried so many times and I just get an error. The other way using "Application" says it is obsolete yet I can't use the other way.

    Please don't suggest putting:
    "using UnityEngine.SceneManagement;"
because I have that at the top but I still get errors saying:
The type or namespace name 'SceneManagment' does not exist in the namespace 'UnityEngine'. Are you missing an assembly reference?"

I do not know why this happens but this has caused no small amount of minor headaches and I can not seem to find a fix because apparently people just added the "using UnityEngine.SceneManagement;" to the top and it fixes or they updated and it fixes but I am fully up to date on 5.2.2f1. Please help me.

There is proof of the problem.

The latest version of Unity is Unity 5.4. Can you upgrade tot that version and try again?

5.2 doesn't have any of the scene management stuff in it so it would make sense that your using statement is barfing. Now - why you're getting messages about Application being deprecated is beyond me.

Sounds like a fresh install of 5.4 or 5.3.x is in order.
