Problem with music files playback

Is there a known problem with music file playback? Sometimes the audio files I've put in my project don't play in Unity. I'll click on the play button but the slider won't move and no sound is made. After a while it'll start working again, or sometimes restarting Unity helps for a time. I know the files themselves are good because they play from the Finder just fine. This happens with .mp3, .aiff, or .wav files.

 

In Editor mode its may be seem to be a problem, when u press a play button. At runtime its play instantly and smoothly.

 

But in my case whenever I have problems with playback in the Editor, I cannot hear any music or sound while playing the game, either.
