    Hello Community,

I have created a RAW map file of india taken from a map found by searching the net and then editing it.

I started out with this map below

And then I resized it and edited it into the map below

I converted it to black and white (manually using a FILL tool)
    Then changed it to GRAYSCALE

And finally saved the grayscale as a RAW file (not attached - too big to upload)

I imported the RAW file into my unity project

Everything looked as I expected in unity (mirrored but acceptable)

    BUT
AFTER I exported the RAW file (to make sure thats any edits I do in unity can be viewed in my graphics editor)

When I open the RAW file in my graphic editor its like skewed and only partially there.

Can anyone tell me please how to fix this,
Why is the RAW file not being imported correctly?
    What is wrong?

I am using the same graphics software as I did in 1995,
Once I got that one it seemed to do everything and it was free too.
