We've recently had a problem where a build "succeeded" however, a lot of the code and assets had not changed. It was a very large update with lots of new assets.

We saw this in the log:

1: warning: inexact rename detection was skipped due to too many files.
2: warning: you may want to set your diff.renameLimit variable to at least 4682 and retry the command.

And are suspicious that this might have caused the problem.

    A) Why did our build not fail outright?
    B) When we rebuilt a clean build it worked fine.
    C) How do we set the git merge.renameLimit and diff.renameLimit for CloudBuild?

    Thanks,

I too am curious. I experience this now. Its harmless, but I'd like to remove all warnings in the Unity Cloud Build process for my team.
