Problem with 2D game kit (Basic)

Hey guys!

So I'm quite new to Unity and loving it except I downloaded the 2d game kit but I've become a bit stuck. I feel quite embarrassed as my question is bound to annoy the more advanced users of unity as my question is basic. Basically my problem the moving platform under interactables or whatever it's called. When I click on the moving platform in my scene the gizmo that lets you choose the distance and direction has disappeared. Anyone care to enlighten me as to what I'm doing wrong please? =) And also I would like to set some of my moving platforms to have multiple directions but for the life of me I cannot find the add node button and I have searched in the inspector pane when the platform highlighted but still can't find it! =/

It's okay I figured out what I was doing. It was a rookie mistake! =)
