Price Increase Just Before Sale (Asset Store)

Did anybody else notice the price hike this past week on assets in the Asset Store? I was talking to a creator getting details on their asset because it was in fact an awesome asset for the price ($15). The next day I go to buy it and its $30. Looking today I see a few other assets I was interested in last week have increased in price then "discounted". I know this happens in general (price increases throughout the year) but seeing it happen in real time (one week) is jarring. And I don't have a problem buying assets for the requested price, but out of sheer principal that annoys me to the point I don't want to bother.
