I think many job's packages are broken.

I go to packages, "Add package from git URL" and then put in "com.unity.collections@1.2" (the latest collections) and then get the following

    Code (CSharp):
    1. Cannot perform upm operation: Unable to add package [com.unity.collections@1.2]:
    2.   Package [com.unity.collections@1.0] cannot be found [NotFound]
    3. UnityEditor.EditorApplication:Internal_CallUpdateFunctions ()
Seems like a bunch of different preview packages are broken too. Is this a known issue or some issue with my computer?

Maybe the issue is attempting to add a specific version? I can add com.unity.collections (or any other package) just fine, but I never use the @ syntax.

I tried without the @ and still no good. I haven't tried in the last few hours though, I think something was wrong at Unity since others on the Discord were complaining.

Sadly it didn't this morning. I will check tomorrow to see if it is working. All the preview packages seemed to be messed up.

Same thing happened to my friend yesterday - we tried to set up an ECS project on his machine but few of the DOTS packages just couldn't be downloaded. Namely:
    - entities
    - hybrid renderer
    - unity physics

Everything worked fine for me (even on a fresh ECS project) because I already have the packages cached, so we fixed it by sending him all of my locally cached packages from "AppData\Local\Unity\cache\packages\packages.unity.com" and manually adding broken DOTS packages and all of their dependencies (Collections, Jobs etc.) from package manager with "Add package from disk...". Unfortunetly they are set up as "Custom Packages" which messes up the "manifest.json" file but we couldn't think of anything else.

We suspect that the Collections package is broken which also breaks other packages dependencies. Is it happening to anyone else? We worked on Unity 2020.3.30f1 with Entities 0.50.

Looks like it is all fixed. I created a new project same as I did yesterday and everything got downloaded properly. I think there was some issue on Unity's side. Really unlucky I ran into this the day I was trying to make a new computer.
