When I used to make builds, it would let me select the location and then I'd simply type in the name of the .exe that I wanted.

Ever since 2018 (or around then), I've noticed that it now requires me to select a folder instead. i.e. I can't just type in an executable name, I must create a new folder with that name and then select that folder.

Is that correct, or have I missed something that needs to change?

    Thanks

Nevermind just found this, can't seem to find option to delete my thread:

Windows: The Build Player location selection dialog now asks for a folder rather than a file name when building Windows standalone player. The BuildPipeline.BuildPlayer API is not affected by this change. (995320)
