"preparing bake" locking the editor for a few second

    I don't remember this happening in b11, since rc1 project loading is even slower and "preparing bake" seems to be taking its time. Bug report #975886

    Hi @laurentlavigne !

    Does the issue still persist for you in 2017.3.0f2? I tried it and the issue seems to be addressed and I can't reproduce it anymore.

    yes, it doesn't take as long, maybe 1 second
