    Hello,

So when I import a specific prefab, it loads into the hierarchy, the ram shoots up in the task manager and then the editor crashes.

    here are two attached resources:

    A video and logs

Hmm. So the rar file contains a WMV video file. That shows the editor crashing but it's kinda hard to know what's happening. Going to need a lot more info if we're to help you work this out.

and the log file shows crashes at:

Do you know anything about those? I don't think they are Unity functions. There's a Pfx called Parallel Extensions. Does that mean anything to you?

No I never heard of these before, also I updated the video in the resources.rar. The problem is when I drag in the prefab, a few seconds later the editor crashes.

Export the prefab as a package. Then start a new project, and import that package. Does Unity crash? If so, please submit a bug and post the bug number here.

Doing so requires me to right click the prefab a click on select dependencies, when the project folder shows up all the assets, it crashes.

I encountered this problem just now. Couple of observations:
    • I was able to right-click the prefab and choose "Export Package". Dependencies were automatically included in the export dialog. When I imported the resulting package into a new project, the prefab imported just fine.
    • In the old project (where the prefab was crashing) I simply closed the project, deleted the Library folder, then re-opened the project. It re-imported everything, including the previously-crashing prefab, without error.
