Bug Prefab thumbnails are dark.

I have seen a couple of threads going back to Unity 2017 about prefabs with dark thumbnails, i' am using Unity 2020.3.31f1 LTS an it's still not fixed.

I have entered a bug 8 months ago and nothing has change.



Re-importing the asset used to work in Unity 2017, but since then nothing works.

Anyone else facing the same issue?

The same problem, but we are using custom shader. For default URP Lit shader, it is OK.

 

I have the same issue for HDRP, it works okay in the version 2021.3.14, it doesnt in 2021.3.2x.

I had to migrate back my project to 2021.3.14 to continue working

Smart library has better icon brightness, you can use that to manage your assets.
And yes unity should fix the icons.
