Question Prefab problem

Using Unity 2020.1.3f1

Can't seem to attach anything to my prefabs, and when I click on the prefab it's appears to be constantly updating the scene making it sluggish.

but if I put game object into scene, unpack everything, all works fine.

I was making a basic arrow prefab to be shot from a bow, click mouse button to spawn arrow.
