Prefab Preview is white until I click it? 2019.3.3f1 HDRP 7.2.1

    When I click on a prefab or model in the project view, I see a preview in the preview window on the right (using default layout). The thing is, the model is shown solid white (no shading at all) until I click on it and then the materials appears.

    I've noticed this behavior for a while but just ignored it - but it is annoying and I'm wondering if I've got something wrong?
