    I wish the ghostbusters exist because this one has been haunting unity since version 2.7
    When I press the revert button I get this beauty and the hierarchy doesn't turn blue. Same thing when I apply this particularly recalcitrant prefab.

    I found a 100% repro: this happens when one component is missing
