    Hi! I'm Using Unity3D Pro 30 day Trial, and after the app launches it first displays the 620x300 custom splash and then the full screen "powered by unity" splash - is this due to it being a trial or am I missing something?

    Yes, it is. This second spalsh is not shown on normal PRO.
