PostProcessing not working

We're currently on Unity 2019.2.0a9 and using PostProcessing 2.1.4.
We moved to alpha from 2018.3 and same presets with very same PostProcessing 2.1.4 worked fine, now PPLayer and PPVolume do nothing

Also HDRP version is 6.5.2

 

same here with unity a9, postprocessing 2.1.4 and HDRP 5.10.0
I managed to make postprocessing 2.1.4 work with HDRP in version 5.2.3 but when launching the scene i got an "S8_SRGB not supported" error and a black screen

 

I managed to google this through and apparently HDRP 5.3+ uses embedded postprocessing (and not working with PostProcessing package), though still not able to figure out how to use it. AFAIK this embedded PP is not support custom effects and that was the reason why I spend a few hours today to roll back to 2018.3.
Will wait for the news on this one.
2019.1 has a few nice features I'd like to use and also a few bugs fixed in 2019.2
So yeah, beta is beta

 

There's no documentation about this embedded post processing ?

 

There's only embedded HDRP PP from HDRP 5.3.0 onwards. Don't even try installing PostProcessing package with it as it'll not do anything. HDRP PP extending is coming on 2019.2 earliest, but it's not there yet.
