Post Processing works if I launch the scene from a menu. It doesn't work if I run the scene directly. Odd. The menu is very simple, a camera and a light

    Direct:

    By a menu

Shouldn't be something that happens in general...
Are there any objects that are set to DontDestroyWhenLoading in that menu scene?
If nothing else helps, do the flowing step by step investigation of the culprit:
    1. Write a new script that triggers nothing but the change to the main scene on a keypress
    2. Add that script to a new object in the menu scene
    3. Deactivate ALL other objects in the menu scene, then trigger the scene with the key.
    4. If now there's no preprocessing, activate objects from menu scene and retry until it works again and you've found the cause.
    5. If that still activates postprocessing with no activated objects, something is very odd..

I tested from a scene start without a camera, just loading the scene. it works like with the menu. I have no DontDestroyWhenLoading object.
Since it works, I'll leave it like that. I just wanted to know why it wasn't launching live.
    THANKS

Do you have more than one scene loaded at any time? Like a menu scene and your forest scene? If so, are you paying attention to which scene is the "active" scene?

I only use one scene at a time. I even created an empty scene with nothing, no lighting and the main scene launches fine. Weird
