Possible Unity3d run on Apple Mac Mini Intel Core 2 Duo ??

    Hi Guys i planing export my APPs on OSX and iOS. I found on one auction forum for probably good price one !Apple Mac Mini Intel Core 2 Duo. Can Unity for OSX run on this Mac? Please help me, i need any mac for exporting my APP. I dont know if there chance update OS X for better from this 10.6.8 version.

    I have Mac Book Pro Early 2008 - it works with OS X El Capitan just fine, but slow. It's ok for building and testing, but too slow for developing.

    No; see the Unity system requirements. But even if you could run Unity, XCode typically requires the latest, or almost latest OS.

    the problem wouldn't neccessarily be the hardware, but xcode. for developing simple mobile apps, the hardware itself would be sufficient.

    The problem is indeed the hardware, which is too old to run a new(ish) OS, and that's a requirement for making iOS apps.

    No need; the screenshot says version 2,1. It's too old and won't upgrade past 10.6.

    Okay. I updated my post. Still that's a shame it's just barely too old.

    So lemme get this straight, If i build the app on my desktop can i transfer it to my unibody macbook (Yes i'm poor #rolleyes) for building and uploading to the ios appstore???

    Yes, you can develop your app at desktop, and then transfer (SVN, Dropbox, etc.) to macbook to make/compile XCode Project and upload to device or iTunes Connect
