Is it currently possible to ignore files/folders with collaborate? Since Collaborate uses git under the hood, I figured maybe a gitignore file would do the trick but I can't seem to get it to work.

Which files is it in this case? Put those files outside Assets/ folder?

In my case specifically it's a (very) large package from the asset store that I don't want source controlled. It's a single license asset that is used to create content and isn't needed on every team members copy of the project.

We're currently working on this feature! I will reach out to you when we have a build with it available.

Ah yes, actually I found it but I totally forgot to update this post.

Now the only thing left is branches! I saw some other posts stating how complicated (and non-user friendly for git noobs) this would be. But I really really hope there's a way for you guys to add this in.

Until branches are there I can't really use this effectively (I use git-flow for my projects)

Well good news then because we are committing to branches being a thing in 2017. If you check my latest post in that same thread, you'll see my update on that.
