I am developing an editor tool. It uses compute shaders to do heavy math calculations. The computations have nothing to do with rendering. The data is only available in editor so I can't build the project and debug it as an standalone program.

    Any suggestions?

I did that in the past and didn't go well. At the time it seemed renderdoc emulates DX functionality with something that ruined everything and even correct shaders produced incorrect results. I'll try again and see if it works now. Thanks.
