Portal mechanics not working

hey guys Ive been working on a portal game for weeks now and have developed all the control for the player, portal gun and cross-hair etc. Although the problem I have come across is that when I go to walk through my actual portal it doesn't teleport me and only rotates me in the direction in which the other portal is facing. Plz help Ive been having this problem for weeks now and cant manage to fix the issue. I have even tried searching for other scripts to help on the unity help section and on YouTube and discovered this video (

) and used the same code as them but it still doesn't work. I have attached the files which may be having issue. All help appreciated.
