    Hi

I'm currently working with vs community 2017. I'm looking into a solution where I can have portable versions of unity and an IDE on my usb stick.I haven't been able to find a working solution yet. Anyone does something similar?

Ah. VS. Yeah - that could be an issue - I'm using Monodevelop, and that is portable (and on Mac, too).

I've tried that, but it doesn't seem to work since it needs some other things installed too, the .NET thing for instance.

How do you do that? I've looked into that and it looks complicated

Just run the full Unity installation procedure (Monodevelop comes with Unity Mac) on the thumb drive.

HOT DAMN! It didn't even occur to me to look for a Unity-Integrated editor. Probably comes from spending way too much time in XCode, CodeWarrior and Eclipse. Damn that thing is nice, a steal at 30 bucks! Thanks for the tip, Ryiah!
