Those are my settings in the unity transport

    Here is my port forwarding:

I start a host, and my friend tries to join as a client using my public IP address and port, but it won't connect. My firewall is allowing the game too. What may be the reason?

Shouldn't the port be forwarded to your local IP address? E.g. 192.168.x.x?

As far as I know, the local address starts with 192 only in north America.

This is indeed my IPv4 local address

By the way, when I try to open the host by using my public ip instead of 127.0.0.1 it won't work. Is it supposed to be that way?

Huh. My local IP is 192.168.* and I'm not in North America at all, but the one you're using does indeed seem to be your local IP. As far as I know, the way you're doing it is supposed to work: your connect address is local, you forward the port correct, and the other player tries to connect to your public IP, so I'm at a loss here.

    Is it possible that
Thanks for trying anyway.. The thing that bugs me the most is that once the server is open I try to use this tool in order to check if port 7777 is indeed open: https://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/
It says that port 7777 is close, while if for example I set my torrent software to work on 7777 it will open this port based on the tool.. Almost like the server doesn't really open but it does work locally if I open the game two times and use one as an host and one as a client
