Poor performance on better hardware?

    Hi!
I'm pretty new to Unity and I'm not sure if I missed something somewhere.
I have a project I've been making and seeing better performance on older hardware. I've tried the 2 machines described below.
On the old one I get consistent frame rates around 60/s, but on the newer I get frame drops whenever my Player object moves. If player is stationary, perf is around 60 fps.
I'll dig into the profiler as soon as I learn how to use it, but I was hoping there is something obvious that could cause this.

Also, is there any explanation why unity player detects the GPU as "radeon 460" when it's a radeon 555?

    Old machine: 2012 MacBook Pro 15", 8Gb, Corei7 2.3Ghz, Nvidia GT 650M 1Gb
New machine: 2017 MacBook Pro 15", 16Gb, Corei7 2.8Ghz, Radeon Pro 555 2Gb (unity player detects it as radeon 460???)
