Poor Editor performance after CPU upgrade

    A few days ago I upgraded my CPU to an i5 6600K, I reinstalled windows and Unity. Since than the Editor has really poor performance. Builds and other games work fine. Anyone knows whats going on?
    Integrated Graphics are disabled in BIOS/UEFI

    specs
    i5 6600K
    GTX 780
    8GB Ram
    Windows 10

    Have you tried using a 32 bit version to see if that changes anything for performance? I've had issues with the 64 bit version in the past.
