    Hi,

I am currently learning with the following approaches:

    1) Completing all official Unity projects & watching related videos

    2) Completing 3DBuzz youtube tutorials Fundamentals 1 & 2

    3) Completing Complete Unity 5 Developer Udemy Course

    4) Reading Rob Miles - C Sharp Yellow Book

Can anyone recommend any other good youtube / Udemy / tutorials that I can follow?

Whoa, that's quite the different approach to that I have taken!

I started with Unity about three weeks ago and, before that, the only coding experience I had was extremely basic HTML and extremely basic Python. I worked through the unity project tutorials in the first week and have basically been learning as I a make bits and pieces for my first game - and Unity allows me to do that.

For coding, everything under the Unity website's Learn tab is pretty much the only coding tutorial/reference material that I'm using at the moment. One reason is that I have tried various random youtube tutorials out there and they are either too advanced for beginners and/or spend an hour on what can be done in 20 minutes. The other reason is that, at least for now, I feel that it would be pointless and confusing if I learn the same material over and over again from different sources; it's working for me so far - if I forget something, I know exactly where to look (not to mention that many of the tutorials come with code as well).

I'm actually more interested in creating (2D) artwork and designing games in general, so when I'm not coding or leaning how to code, I spend my time lurking around the Unity forums, watching Extra Credit videos, reading artcles on Gamasutra, get inspiration on Pixiv and plan for my first game. o:

I learn best when I'm actually working on *something*, it would be interesting to see how others learn, too!

You can also get pratical exposure to many new ideas and techniques by participating on answers. Go over and help with as many questions as you can. It's hard to set your own exams.

really awesome Unity specific information on this site.

Even though I don't understand all of it
When you can get artists to read code posts on your site - you have accomplished something special!

BurgZergArcade made a very big and useful tutorial serie(about 250videos), its designed to make and RPG Hack and Slas but I really recommend it to learn even if you dont want that kind of game because you get the knowledge of how the things work in advacned scripting.

    His channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOIcO8Lsk1MERedhOnew73A

Its from 4 years ago, but Im in tutorial 170 and all still works (Unity tell you when you use and outdated code, and how you need to setup in actual version).

My favorite youtuber who I have learned the most from is PushyPixels. He has a lot of videos and when he runs into problems, he debugs them while you watch so you also learn how to solve problems that you run in to while coding.
