EDIT:For some reason the image won't pop up so here's a link to it - http://www.acidwizardstudio.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/eye.gif
This picture above is an indication of what I would like my characters movement to be. I have not found any tutorials on how to make the lower and upper parts of the body move seperatly from each other where the top half i to look around rotating at 180 degrees and the lower half is for movement which seems to be 180 degrees as well.

Also if anyone has ever heard of or player this game in the picture know as "DarkWood" I would also like to know what style is being used here as well. The assets, other then things you can touch seem to be painted or drawn on to the ground

Is there anyone who can point me in the right direction?
This is the only problem keeping me from my goal.

You probably won't find a tutorial for something so specific, but you don't need one, either. :)

Simply make the upper body a child of the lower body in the scene hierarchy. And of course, layer it slightly higher in the sprite layering.
