Please Help, My Tracer Particles are Going Flat in the Distance

    My tracer particle system is pretty basic. I just changed the shape to narrow cone, applied a bullet tracer trail texture and changed the particle billboard to stretched billboard.

    trying to achieve a volume with oblique stretched billboards is going to always be a challenge.

    you can introduce a bias inside the system locally moving the emitter screen-left -

    Can you do a cross billboard mesh. It's a cheap trick but it can give you more depth. Basically like two billboards crossed one a circle glow texture and the other the one you have.

    From 2017.1, you can have mesh particle aligned to its velocity, its material can use unlit color shader.

    Alright after trying the suggestions above it finally worked! I just changed the texture type to "2D Sprite".
