please help me, i'm a beginner. enemy view cone.

    hello,
    now i'm creating a 3d Top Down Shooter. my enemy needs a view cone or line of sight. if the player enters it the enemy need to go to near the player and start shooting him. i have seen many tutorials but nothing works for me please help me.
