Please fix the 'Inter' font for Mac os (for Retina display).

    The display of Inter font for Mac is not normal. Can it be fix?

    This will be the way it renders in 19.3. However, you can switch back to Lucida Grande (Mac) or Verdana (Windows) under Preferences. We will work on some custom kerning and a few other rendering fixes to make the Inter font work better on all platforms for 2020. Thanks!

    Hey, why can't we have Lucida Grande on Windows?

    In fact, why can't we choose any of the font installed on our computers? :)

    Right now we are only supporting a few fonts because for every font we have to provide custom spacing as well. Also, we have an old font renderer we would like to update first. We want to do this though!

    As for Lucida Grande and Verdana. Those were picked per OS 14 years back to match the OS fonts at the time :).

    This would be GREAT but currently we have to hand adjust all the spacing per font. Also, some fonts break the UI, etc. It takes a ton of time to get one font to work. Also, we currently house the fonts in the editor and do not pull from what is installed on your machine (as far as I have been told and have seen... Fonts in long history apps are mysterious sometimes). I hope we can fix the UI setup so that adding additional fonts from you local device and resizing will be possible in the future. But it is going to take a ton of work! Great thoughts though. When you keep asking it helps us to make this stuff a priority :).
