Please explain about a Humanoid Mecanim in a different character in the store.

    I am a newbie, and I spend a while looking for a character in the store. Now one thing I learned about this is "characters that used a Humanoid rigging type can share their animation to the other humanoid" Okay, but I notice that many characters that used Humanoid Mecanim like these.

    I notice that they got another component in their body that animated too, for example, their boobs, hair, or cloth. So now the author of these assets claim that character used a Humanoid Mecanim (write in the description) but how about their different components? is their animation work to the other?

    You're right, a standard Humanoid Mecanim animation will not animate those extra bones. Those would need to be handled separately.

    Many assets come with both Humanoid Mecanim animations, and "legacy" animations that work only with that model.
