Please advice.. I lost everything

    Hello

    I tried to enable the collaborate system. it gave me an error something about storage exceeded.
    Then there was an update from 1.3.? To 1.8.?
    I updated it.
    Next to my inspector on the collobroate tab I had the long list with all of my scripts. I marked the 6 of them I wanted to share and pressed published.
    After this something terrible wrong must have happend.
    I did not recieve any DELETE, removing, archive or anything remotely which would indicate that I would loose ALL my files..

    Now I am left with an empty scene. All my assets are gone. I checked my hard drive folder under assetes and it’s empty...

    How the hell can this happens??
    Is there a way to retrieve this from the cloud ?

    I just wanted to share a couple of scripts to another person.

    I spend 3 months on this...

    Br a very sad man ...

    What was the message after you published? Can you check with the other person you added? They may be able to see the files in Collaborate. Can you share a screenshot of your file explorer view of your project that shows an empty Asset folder? I typically make a project backup locally by zipping up the project and copying it.

    I sincerely hope you can recover your files.

    And after you do, please do yourself a favor and banish collaborate from your life. It's a defective, unsupported, insufferable piece of software.

    The same thing happened to me... Just use Github with a custom .gitignore and you will save yourself headaches.
