Trying to find in which exact version something was fixed or mentioned is impossible.

    https://unity3d.com/unity/whats-new/2020.2.2

For asset creators and projects that need to upgrade to fix that specific issue is nearly impossible to find the minimum version needed, so that it is compatible with as many versions as possible, specially when support tells you "in the latest version it is fixed", but you can't upgrade to that version.

Please, add some search capabilities that tell you where X term is mentioned in any "what's new page" of any version, or from X version. Some filters would be good, but for starters, we need basic search desperately.

    Thanks

No way :) I've put together a few tools to automate scrapping. Nothing fancy, but does the job.

But search in Windows doesn't work with .md files... I'll have to open all of them and save as html / txt or changing the extension by hand. Not worth it doing it with python. :D

Do you mean for using this to find the information you mentioned in your OP? I'm guessing not, but in case this is what you mean, you can do a search within the git project. No download required.

I'm on macOS. Here I use ripgrep. This might be helpful for your use case.

Repo updated with latest releases (2019.4.39, 2022.1.1).

That is awesome. I only had 150 indexed files... now I understand why search never works. I guess I disabled it to make my pc faster, bad idea. Thanks
