PlayMaker - Visual Scripting for Unity

    This is fascinating:D, any job system support? It would be useful to improve multithread performance by delegating FSMs in this way.

    That last screenshot reminded me of the ECS, so is there a possibility of supporting ECS? (I don't think so, but it doesn't hurt to ask:p)

    The update model is much more flexible so it should be possible. But it will be after the 2.0 release.

    Will Playmaker 2 integrate scriptable objects further for events and variables so they can be used more directly with c# scripts as outlined by Ryan Hipple in Unite Austin 2017? I think that would make it indestructible. :)

    Edit: And maybe more importantly: will we be able to upgrade Playmaker 1 projects? Pretty please?

    Yes, global events and variables are scriptable objects, so they can be easily referenced in non playmaker scripts. We also use a project database to track all references, so you can quickly find where events and variables are used. And there's UI to see event subscribers, send test events etc.

    We need to lock down 2.0 features first, but upgrading of 1.0 projects is on my radar.

    This may be a stretch to ask for Playmaker 2.0, but is there any plans on having an official multiplayer integration like Fishnet or Unity NetCode?

    Or if someone else were to make all the actions needed to support a multiplayer solution, could that be packaged with Playmaker 2.0 upon release?

    Playmaker is a powerful tool but there are currently no multiplayer solution that supports host/server modes for Playmaker (only Shared Mode, and as third party support). I'd imagine Multiplayer this could be a major selling point for Playmaker 2.0, but not sure if this is a distant dream or not a focus at all for your plans.
