PlayMaker - Visual Scripting for Unity

    @Alex-Chouls Is there any way to make compatible versions for Playmaker easily? Some of the other visual interface tools offering this option. But, would like to know if any we are missing related to Play Maker.

    Hi, not sure what you mean by compatible versions? Are you trying to make an asset work with PlayMaker? Is it an asset you make?

    I meant for making our plugins compatible with Play Maker.

    Yes! PlayMaker can call public methods in your plugin and access public properties without any work on your side. However, many publishers also provide custom actions that can be easier for people to use - they don't need to know about method names, parameters, return types etc. Custom actions are also searchable in the Action Browser with a nice preview, help link etc.

    Also join the PlayMaker forums. Jean Fabre helps a lot of developers with more complex integrations. And you can PM me on the forums if you run into any issues.

    #PlayMakerTip Use the FSM Log and Debug Flow to step through state changes. Also, use state colors :)

    #PlayMakerTip Right-click transitions to select different link styles:



    You can set the default link style in:
    PlayMaker > Preferences > Graph View

    #PlayMakerTip: Drag and drop GameObjects and Components to open context-sensitive action menus.

    Drag a single component to see actions for that component:
    DragCameraToState.gif

    Drag the GameObject to browse all components on the GameObject:

    Hey @Alex-Chouls ,

    We've discussed Linear space compatibility on the Playmaker forums in the last days. I've found something important with the latest version (1.9.0.p9) and Unity 2018.3 . Can you please check the Playmaker forums help section? I've found something new related to the Linear space thing that you were fixing in latest patch.

    Thanks @sqallpl. It turns out 2018.3 handles editor textures in Linear space differently than previous versions. Should have a fix up soon...
