    Hi,

    You are welcome :)

Yes, this is something doable. Ideally, you shoulkd cut down your project into smaller parts, do the GamePlay first, work on the VR on the side, make both evolve to your liking and then combine the two together. It will be a lot more digestable than trying to do all of this at once. You can, but experience is required for the project to start well, if you are beginning, I strongly advice you start with humble targets, and build up as you gain confidence.

In all cases, always ask on the forum, we are here to help :)

    Bye,

    Jean

Some people noticed the little "))" icon on states in the last gif. This is a new feature, showing if a state sends events. Click on the icon to see the events sent. Select an event to jump to the action that sends it.

No. It won't break any projects currently using the uGUI Addon. If you already started a project with the Addon it might be easier to keep using it, but if you start a new project you won't need it any more.

#PlayMakerTip: See what object you collided with in the FSM Log. Click to select the object.

Great for debugging collisions and triggers!

Bonus tip: The log shows any custom icon assigned to the collision object for at-a-glance identification.

Sneak Peak: Playmaker 1.9.0 will have native Tween actions with Easing curve previews:
    EasingFunctionPreview.PNG

p.s. iTween actions will still be available in a new Addons Manager which will also make it easier to find third party tweening assets with Playmaker support.

Does Playmaker support lists? I see array variables, but no lists.

The array variable type is a bit of a hybrid. Behind the scenes it uses lists to allow list like operations (add, insert, sort...). There is also the free ArrayMaker add-on available on the Ecosystem: https://hutonggames.fogbugz.com/f/page?W715

Experimenting with Action Progress bars in next update:
    ActionProgressBar.gif

Also actions can now draw custom previews under fields (e.g., the preview curve under Ease Type).

I think its a nice idea, i could also see the line working on the nodes itself, to see time progression a bit like the unity animation nodes do it.

Check out this behind the scenes look at Unruly Heroes, a gorgeous game using Playmaker for rapid prototyping:

    https://unity.com/madewith/unruly-heroes
"Each of the teams is familiar with Playmaker to aid prototyping, and can build new gameplay scenarios quickly. In fact, they were able to create a PVP mode (a feature they’re proud to include for local and online play) for the game without needing to solicit their programming team."
