Player analytics tracking in standalone?

    Hi,

    Just curious what sort of data is getting sent to unityHQ with the player analytics option? I note that it isn't possible to disable it in the free version, so it'd be nice to know. (I'm not directly affected by this, but it would be something I'd mention to other people if recommending unity).

    Ostwind's pretty much spot on: it's device specs, IP address and game name.

    Ah ok. It was here all along - it's the option to disable it that's a new feature. It doesn't do any worse than 90% of websites (other than generating a more concrete UID), so I guess it's not a big deal.

    I believe you could always disable it, but in 5.0 we changed the option name.
