Requires Animancer: works with Lite, but some features are Pro-Only.

The Platformer Game Kit is a FREE Unity plugin which provides an extensible framework for creating 2D platformer games using Animancer.

The Documentation explains how to set up your own character art as well as how each part of the system works to help beginners learn about effective development practices (unlike Unity's own Game Kits which are intended for non-programmers to put together a rudimentary game without any coding).

Features:

❶ BoxCollider2D based Character Controller with Step Handling.

❷ Extremely modular Character State Machine system.

❸ Player Abilities: Introductions, Wall Slide, Wall Jump, Air Jump, Melee Attack Combos, Ranged Attacks.

❹ Simple Behaviour Tree system for enemy AI.

❺ 5 different enemy types.

❻ Polygon based Hit Box system for melee attacks.

❼ Flexible Camera system with Camera Shake.

This package uses 3rd party character sprites which can be used personally and commercially.
