    Hello,

Our team has been having a massive problem trying to get this set up. Unfortunately, we have projects / organizations from about 5 years ago that seem to be conflicting with our accounts. There seems to be some disconnection or conflicts with plastic scm and the unity ID system.

When trying to manage our old organizations, we keep getting redirected here: https://unity.com/solutions/version-control

So we create an organization there. PLEASE NOTE, having to put in our payment information to access the free version is a terrible idea. Please remove this. Nobody likes this.

Creating the organization works, but when we go back to unity and try to log into our organization, they are not showing up in the list in the editor plastic vc window. When we delete the old organizations under unity services, those deleted organizations still seem to show up in the editor drop down. This was happening across multiple users, multiple computers.

When we go to the editor Unity Services settings to link our projects, our new organizations do show up there....the deleted organizations do not...which seems to be functioning properly.

When we download the Unity Dev Ops VC software, our new organizations do NOT show up there, but the deleted ones do show up. This makes it seemingly impossible to create a workspace under our new organizations.

No idea what is happening. Any help is appreciated!

    Hi @toomasio,

    Thanks for posting your forum.
Please sign in to Unity Dashboard and click DevOps and file a ticket in the Help&Support tab. Please make sure to use the latest version of the application and plugin. When you file a ticket, please attach the screenshots including organizations you see from the standalone application, and version control plugin, and organizations under UVCS in DevOps in Unity Dashboard.

When creating a new workspace, I also had missing projects in the "Repository" dropdown.

If you click "Choose...", you'll have a choice of the server which might include your new organization.

Yes this is the main issue we are having. None of the new organizations (servers) we create show up in that list. And, the organizations (servers) that we deleted still show up in that list. There is some communication issue between Unity Dev Ops and the Plastic SCM. We think it has to do with having old "Collaborate" projects (Unity's old VC) on our accounts. It only shows the old collab projects and not the new DevOps ones.

fyi I have everything updated to the latest product.

Hi @toomasio, If you are missing cloud organizations in the dropdown in the screenshot above, please try to enter the cloud organization name in the dropdown and check if the repositories are populated.

Thanks @rednbrick . Old apparently deleted servers (organizations) still only show up in the list. Same situation in the Unity DevOps app.

When I type out the server manually and hit 'refresh'...dns error. Multiple workstations on multiple networks (work/home) do the same thing...just old collab test projects from about 5 years ago show up. I think my account needs to be cleansed server side if possible.

I may have managed to figure this out. Opening the web ui repo on the Devops App led me to this page: https://dashboard.unity3d.com/devops/organizations/ which has a completely different interface than https://id.unity.com/organizations .

When I created an organization on https://dashboard.unity3d.com/devops/organizations/ ... this seemed to finally work when I manually pinged it from the Unity Editor. I also did not have to sign up using my payment information ... which is not consistent to the other workflow here : https://unity.com/solutions/version-control

Are all these webpages supposed to be paired together? A little confusing if they are a different product.

I am able to commit changes and they show up in the browser here: https://dashboard.unity3d.com/devops/organizations/ .... so I am assuming this is working.

Anyways, hope this helps someone if they run into this issue!...but I am still leaving this as a bug because this was not an intuitive process at all. Would be nice if the only interface was this https://dashboard.unity3d.com/devops/organizations/ and nothing else.

    Hi @toomasio
    Thanks for sharing the update.

The cloud organization that appears in Unity Dashboard under DevOps for Version Control. Unity organization is different than cloud organization(https://docs.unity.com/ugs-overview/en/manual/unity-organizations).

I am not sure exactly, but I assume that the reason why it does not ask for payment information is the system already has the payment information.

Please let us know if you have any questions.
