    Hi all,

I'm having some trouble with Plastic. Currently it's only showing one branch in Unity, and It's not the branch that the current workspace is switched to in the plastic interface...

Does anyone know what might be happening there?

Edit - After a little more exploring it seems that the branch (or workspace?) in the plastic app is different to the WebUI and Unity is not in sync at all and only shows one branch. :( It's so confusing, I can't spend any more time trying on untangling it.

    Thanks,
    Pete

    Hi,

Are you checking the "Branch explorer" or the "Branches" view? Can you attach a screenshot to better understand the problem?

Please check that you are using the same Plastic Cloud repo in the Unity plugin (not a local repo).

The webUI is independent of the Plastic client. You cannot manage a Plastic workspace via the webUI.
You can use your local workspace via the Plastic GUI or the Unity plugin. We are open to arranging a meeting with you if you are stuck. Please reach us at support@plasticscm.com

    Regards,
    Carlos.

    Hi, Thanks Carlos,
how would I check this? I can't find any reference to where the repo is.
I'm checking the 'Branches' view in Unity and Plastic. It shows different branches in each.

    Hi,

I mean to check that you are opening the same project on disk both in the Plastic GUI and Unity (not different local paths).
In the root of the workspace ".plastic/plastic.selector" you can check the workspace selector and repository and server your workspace is pointing.

If you are seeing different branches, the most common explanation is:
    - You are opening different workspaces/projects on disk on different paths.
    - Some filter (date filter?) is hiding some of the branches.

Can you attach some screenshots of what you are seeing?

    Regards,
    Carlos.

    Hi, sorry for the delay.

Here's what Im seeing in unity (Just the one branch)-

    and Plastic -

    I don't think I'm filtering anything.
I'm on the version control package "Version 2.0.1".

It looks like the plastic workspace is in the same place as my project.

I'll contact support, it all seems pretty broken.

Could you share your date filter?

The date filter only shows up for Changesets and Branches tabs. Looking at the last screenshot, it seems you are not in either tab (the tabs don't have the blue underline). Could you select the Branches tab first then change the filter? Does it help?
