Plashit SCM

    WTF is that F*****G S**T!

    Since 2 months I wasn't able to save my work with Plastic SCM, "Broken Pipe", "Broken Pipe", "Broken Pipe", "Broken Pipe", "Broken Pipe", "Broken Pipe" F*** YOU!
    I just downloaded the new version of Plashit SCM, then install it, unity checked for changes and then replaced all the work I've made since 2 month by old files!!!!!!!

    ARE YOU F***ING SERIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????????
    I don't want this Plastic S*** anymore! Everything worked juste great with the old version control!

    All the files saved on my computer are just gone!
    Any solutions? Move to Unreal engine maybe

    a broken pipe can be quite painful, i hope you will one day rise again

    Hi,

    Sorry to hear of your bad experience. I suspect the error message that you were experiencing is...

    "Unable to write data to the transport connection: Broken pipe."

    This error message is usually indicative of a network limitation preventing you to connect to the Plastic Cloud server.

    What output do you get when running the below command in a Command Prompt (replace YOUR_ORG with your Organization name)...

    cm iostats YOURORG@cloud --nettotalmb=128

    this is the issue our artists on another site are having. Can I ask why they don’t have issues like this error and the corrupt files it produces using Git, Dropbox and formally Collab from the same machines on the same site? Why do they all work and plastic doesn’t?

    We would need to review the client logs from these user to debug the problem.

    The command ollieblanks is useful to get some information about the network speed but we would also need to review the client logs:
    C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\plastic4\logs
