I have a PLA based animation.. and i cant do it without doing it that way.. :(

Is there any solution out there to get a PLA based animated mesh into Unity? Its only 30 frames, i was thinking if i bake each state into a mesh somehow i would have 30 meshes and then dynamicaly switch them. but is there any way to automate this or any other solutions?

Unless there's a way to convert each point into a bone, I'm not sure. That would be a lot of bones.
Reducing the complexity to animated meshes would be a good idea, if you can do it.

But, it also be cool if you could export your PLA animation as sequence of Wavefront .obj files
for morphing, like vertex animation that requires no bones.

    Howdy,

You may be interested in my CD FBX Import/Export plugin for Cinema 4D:

It supports exporting PLA tracks, deformed mesh animations and Clothilde to fbx vertex cache.

    Adios,
