Pixel Bowl is a 2D American football game inspired by Tecmo Bowl with some modern gaming mechanics.

Play all sides of possession - offense, defense, and special teams!

Users can customize their team, including jersey sets, logos, player names, and even their playbook. Players each start at level 1 and can be trained all the way up to level 15. Player level has a unique effect for each position as well as general stat boosts.

Daily and monthly challenges, global leaderboards, and plenty of rewards to earn!

Pixel Bowl is an American football video game released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in September 2009. The game is a follow-up to Pixel Cup and was developed by Canadian developer Digital Illusions CE (DICE) and published by Electronic Arts.

The rules of this football game are similar to the rules of American Football. But what makes Pixel Bowl unique is its rules. The rules are designed so that each team has two main goals; both must be achieved. The first is to win the possession game (possession=get the ball to the other side of the field). The second is to get the other team to call a timeout (timeout=give the other team time to change their play, but keep the ball in the game). To win, the team that calls the timeout first is declared the winner. The teams switch places after each time out.
