Pick Up and Pass Ball

    The way it is done in the game I'm currently working on is to have a empty gameobject/transform on the character with the position where the ball should be held, then when the pickup condition occurs in an Update you assign the position of the ball to the position it should be held on the character.

    Another way of doing this would be just to parent the ball to the character.
