Physics2D slightly different in 2018.3 vs 2018.2.0b11?

My base version, for all physics settings, was all done in 2018.2.0b11.

My character controller and his responses throughout the world are entirely physical. Just about the entire world is 2D physics.

I'm not sure if this is me...

But it feels just a little crisper in 2018.3, a little less plasticky, or something like that.

It all just feels ever so slightly different... but I can't quite put a finger on what that difference is.

There's no other differences between the projects other than the version of Unity they're running in.

    Like I said "maybe"
So it seems it's another reason then.

No. Just accept that you're wrong.

    Not even close.

PhysX and 3D physics have NOTHING to do with 2D physics in Unity. They're two different systems.

Not sure if English is your main language or not but this is the meaning of maybe
    upload_2018-9-28_14-56-54.png

So If I said "maybe" it's because of the PhysX upgrade then that means I'm not sure but it could be a possibility. Now I'm not sure why you are so worked up about this especially since it doesn't help towards what you originally posted about, but "maybe" your day isn't going so well.

There is no chance the PhysX system is influencing the Box2D physics.

    None.

    Zero.

    Zilch.

    All incompatible with maybe.

And maybe you'll get better help in the future if you aren't a total ******* to the first person who tries to help you lol.

He achieved the opposite of trying to help, if that was his goal, by distracting from the possible areas causing any possible changes.

As to whether or not I was an ******** to him... yeah... whatever. Maybe you'll have more luck realising what's what when you worry less about whatever you perceive to be what you think it is and focus on what's actually there.

Dude, just stop. Why are you even here, it seems purely to show everyone how not to get help?
