This is my first attempt at a VR simulation and has been built with Unity and the Google Cardboard SDK. For use in the classroom, basic mobile phone VR headsets are the most appropriate currently. It includes an exaggerated parallax effect for many of the closest stars and allows students to measure this parallax just using the VR gaze. You can zoom in on these stars for additional information. It also has points of interest (such as the Andromeda Galaxy) which popup on the HUD.

Does anyone have any ideas for additional elements?
