Having a physical based camera in HDRP is really great, especially in combination with the EV based false color rendering debugger.

However, the 'shutter speed' property of the physical camera does not behave as one would expect. It has no influence on motion blur which is a major characteristic of a properly physically accurate camera.

Currently, setting the shutter speed of a physical camera only increases the overall exposure brightness but nothing else.

There is thread from 2020 where physical camera based motion blur is mentioned as an upcoming feature of HDRP but to my knowledge is has not been implemented.

TLDR Does anyone know a way to input a shutter speed for a camera and get a more or less accurate representation of the 'real' thing ?

Sadly no, I think I remember that post too. Motion blur is a post affect so, not linked to any physically based inputs, and the shutter speed only has an affect when physical camera exposure is used, which, as you're probably aware is a fixed exposure based on your exposure triangle inputs.

Similarly, there's unlikely any correlation to the motion blur settings and shutter (TV) values that mean modulating them through script would make any sense.

For offline rendering ( though I don't know it's state these days) Deckard Render on the Assets store was a reasonable solution for some time ago for us.
