    Assets1.jpg Hey there!

We've been working hard to produce the photogrammetry assets that would enable Nextgen graphics for developers. We have a great collection of environmental assets that will allow you decorate almost every type of location.

Each asset has optimized LODs, 4k textures, normal, specular and glossiness textures as well as heightmaps.

A full package for a graphics professional.

Here's our first stone, others are under review.

    We would enjoy your feedback!

Wow please keep this up! I'd been wanting to get into photogammetry for my next game so this is a timesaver.

Thank you. We have a huge collection of this type of assets, and polishing them to do different packs.
    Any suggestions about prices?

I'll have to compare to similar assets in the store to suggest prices. But it's clear a lot of work went into these :D it seems that whole island is filled with photogammtry, show the trees next! :p

What kind of price for a pack of 3-5 stones would you like?
    And preferred texture size please.

I am sorting packs but don't want them to be expensive.

The 4k textures look beautiful, i do have a concern that they might be too much when using many rocks together.

Great for mountain sides.and fallen rocks.

3 to 5 rocks i was looking at 10 euro but i am odd, i would really love a comprehensive bundle pack. Problem with smaller individual packs is not knowing if they are all thd same look and feel.

its very important to find the right type of rocks as can look odd inan fps if in one scene the plants and rocks different.

I think you are on to a winner here.

what frame rates you getting in your sample scenes?

Thank you for your answer. And comprehensive is about 10-15 pieces? Or even more? I have about 40-80 stones, different quality, and thinking how to group them. Photogrammetry items need to be chosen and placed with a careful selection. As the whole scene.
I am thinking to create a whole scene pack. Trees, grass, stones, big stone walls, but it's a lot of work and not sure people want it.

Nice notice - texture memory is the key in case of using photogrammetry assets. We have some interesting trick to reduce memory consumption. But you could always use quality settings to keep texture in lower resolution (not higher :)

About FPS - 1920x1080 on this scene about 150 FPS (R9 290X). But a heavy post effects on the camera and no post on Photoshop at all. Without posts - 180-190FPS.

this is quite hard to answer, it require much more content of the same style, like trees, bush etc grounds, except for people doing a rock simulator.

5 $ for a single model maximum but people wont buy if you dont have more content
you can compare with manufactura assets, 40~75$ for a master pack of 30~100 assets.

I love these. Very realistic. However, I agree with the others that $20 per rock is a bit high. It is definitely worth it though. I think the problem is these will make every other rock look bad. :) So if I want 5 different rocks in my game, I need to spend $100 on rocks. While as a geologist, I think rocks are the most important item in a scene, my players would probably choose other game items instead. :)

They are extremely well done. The best rocks I have seen here although I also wonder about how it would impact performance. Could there be an in-between version? How would a lower resolution texture look on the rocks?

Big texture sizes degrade mostly memory bandwidth dependent functions. So degrade level will depends from overall texture sizes and type of GPU. I will do some low res textures to compare.
Also, probably it's good idea to do 3 kind of packs. $5-10 for a 1K textures, $20 for 2K textures, and 80$ for a 4K.
And about 10-20 stones in pack. For 1K textures maybe even more.
If you will use a pack of stones with a high probability you need 1K textures.
4K (and higher) stones used to decorate a big parts of levels - imitate rock cliffs etc.

One of my peeve with rock pack is they unwrap in unique uv, so they really take a lot of texture space. If you can make them share the texture to reduce the textures needed, it would e good.
