Yes, I'm no longer experiencing the slowdown, even after doing things that used to immediately trigger it (like opening the Visual Effects Graph editor).

Anyone else running Ventura that could share their experience with the newer versions? I'm patiently waiting to upgrade.

Upgrading to 2022.2.2f1 solved the problem for me on Ventura.

Yea, the problem seems to be gone.
    Macbook M1 Air, MacOS 13.1(22C65), Unity 2022.2.2f.
    Thanks Unity.

Anyone still experiencing issues with Unity performing well on Ventura for Unity 2021.3? I saw reports 2021.3.16 solved the major issues, but still nervous about upgrading.

Also saw that 2021.3.17 arrived and curious if that's helped any remaining issues.

Shouldn't this problem be solved in the LTS version? Do I have to upgrade the UNITY version?

Just to add to the thread: MBP M1 Max running 2021.3.17 and Ventura for a couple of days now, and I haven't noticed any performance problem when compared to Monterey.

    It's fine.

It's a bit crashy, but it was crashy before Ventura for me as well.

I would like to ask if 2021.3.11 will be solved?

I'm having the same problem. I accidentally enabled Visual Scripting, and ever after it's been 1 CPS during editing (but still 600+ FPS during play)

Same thing on my end, M1 Chip, Ventura 13.0.1, editing on Unity 2021.3.1f1, major lagging when editing with Visual Scripting. Should I update to a later version of Unity, and if so, which version?

I fixed it by removing Visual Scripting from the Asset Store

I was having the same performance issue on Unity 2021.3.15 with Mac M2 Max. BUT Starting from 2021.3.16 it’s is impossible to open our project on MacOS (importing with 2021.3.15 works). Unity import just eat all the available ram and crash the whole system (sometime the Mac reboot if you decided to ignore its warning regarding Unity). I did notice that Unity > 2021.3.15 on windows (with the same project) does “occupy” the whole system memory during the project import, it just don’t crash and once the import finished everything is back to normal.
